CHIROPRACTIC CARE

Chiropractic care focuses on the idea that the cause of many common bodily ailments arise from the body’s inability to adjust to certain physiological changes. These changes can be caused by trauma, poor posture, repetitive motion injuries, stress/anxiety, poor nutrition, or a combination of these. This can result in misalignment and fixation of vertebrae (spinal bones) in the spinal column.
The human brain and spinal cord (central nervous system) control and coordinate all bodily processes and functions. For example, if you cut yourself, the body heals itself. You do not have to tell your heart to beat, it does it on its own. This is all possible due to the action of the central nervous system. The vertebrae’s function is to protect the spinal cord. If there is fixation in the spinal column it can affect communication traveling from the brain, down the spinal cord, through the nerves and to the various parts of the body, and vice versa. One of the many goals of chiropractic is to remove interference from the central nervous system, thus allowing clear communication between the brain and the body. This allows people to experience optimum levels of function.
Through chiropractic care, by eliminating or reducing spinal nerve irritation, patients typically experience improved bodily function, reduced pain, improved sleep, increased energy, stronger immunity, as well as many other benefits. The best part is this is also accomplished without the use of drugs, injections, medications and no surgery.
